Cumberland is well known for its cool lifestyle vibe, craft beers, Pizza’s, art place and all the local trails for Mountain biking. Time has come to introduce some diving in the mix! Cumberland is the perfect place for diving! It’s right in between the ocean and the lake. Perfect place to make baby steps in the world of diving.
BC Sidemount is a new dive shop within the heart of Cumberland! Our focus is to provide top of the line scuba diving training here in the Comox Valley. We come from the Technical and cave diving world and focus to provide second to none dive training to whoever is wiling to learn. You will learn right of the bat with a total new approach to diving. We do it the right way 😉 (DIR Style).
Our shop is very small and run from our home. It might be small, but we have all the gear required to teach our 3 people max per course. It takes us 5min from the house to go to our training spot here on the lake. No pool with us, we go straight into the elements so you get a real taste of what might become your new adventure.
We are very happy and proud to be part of the Cumberland community and hope to spark the interest of some of you willing to take the plunge into the underwater realm!
